THE INTRODUCTIONS

Hello people of Ibadan and potentials,

It's been a long time coming. I created this blog sometime in January of last year while I was still serving in Lagos. I heard a lot about "Lagos peoples'" views of Ibadan. To them, Ibadan is just a dead town meant for retirement. At least that was what the crowd I hung with thought. They said IB girls are razz and swoon over Lagos guys which i found really hilarious. Also, all the twitter bashing (you know how tweeps pick a group to troll every other day), well, that was not helping at all.

So, this is my way of fighting back. This is also for the Die-Hard IB Lovers. I was given birth to in Lagos though but i've lived in IB pretty much all my life. So IB is what I know. So, this is just to bring to us the spots to hang out in IB, places you absolutely must check out and detailed reviews, form my perspective obviously. (I had a friend call me once and ask where to take the boo for a birthday dinner and she was all out to impress. I gave a suggestion of about three spots and what to expect at each one. It made it so easy for her to make er choice.)

The truth is Lagos might have some wilder spots, but i've come to the conclusion that what really makes the fun is the group you hang out with. We don't have a Go-Kart Arena or Beaches and I doubt i've heard of a paintballing spot but go out and make your own fun.

If you're looking for a place to go and not sure about it, just come here.I would do the legwork for you so you don't have to. I'll even take some photos. My photography skills are not 100 just yet but i'm getting there.

The important thing is you getting detailed reviews to make your decisions. :)
